When he was on stage presenting an award at the ALMA Awards with Mexican actress Angelica Vale, Terrence Howard decided to ignore the teleprompter and make a very public play for the Latina. According to Janet Charlton’s Hollywood, the two were originally supposed to engage in some short and simple small talk when Howard got very flirty.

Vale became flustered and blushed (qué cute!) while Howard asked Angelica for her phone number on stage. After their awkward interchange producers decided to reshoot the bit, claiming that “technical difficulties” were to blame. The second time around, Terrence read the script like a good little boy and handed off the award without incident.

Maybe I need to change that title–it sounds like Terrence’s efforts weren’t quite hot enough.
